Warning for Sunblock Users!

Just a friendly word of caution about the dangers of sunblock. Stick to 30 spf and under when purchasing sun protection. Do not use use anything higher than that. The chemicals found in those spf’s contain known carcinogens. The FDA has continued to allow manufacturer’s of the these products to put people at risk. Europe and Canada have banned these ingredients years ago. The chemicals in these products are causing more cancer than the sun.

Mineral powder is an exellent choice for sun protection , they are water and sweat resistant. Also very good for sensitive skin and inflammation.

Key West Aloe Co makes a very good sunblock for scuba divers so it really is waterproof. I will be carrying this line of sun protection soon. It is safe and natural but not organic.It is quite budget friendly.

We all need to have a clean, safe spf and also one that won’t cause acne or rosacea flareups.

Don’t forget to use plenty of moisture in the summer and keep the aloe on hand for accidents. Shea butter is very good for burns and is a natural sun block. It is also very healing and high in hydration.
